Basic Road Skills
The tasks in this unit are conducted in light traffic, on both laned and unlaned roads. An assessment of any task in this unit must be demonstrated to 80% road craft compliance and 100% road law without assistance. A number of the tasks in this unit are repeated again in unit four, however they will be assessed in medium to heavy traffic.

- Task 19: Turning at roundabouts
- Task 20: Negotiating traffic lights
- Task 21: Light traffic urban driving
